Tasting Notes 1: Blended from 17 parcels of Mouvedre across the Vaucluse region. Chosen for the differences in soil (clay, pebbles, sand etc.) and their mineral salt content. All hand harvested and from some vines of over 100 years old.Three week maceration to capture intense flavours without extracting harsh tannins. Aged in 30% new oak and small concrete tanks. Black summer fruits in abundance.Some peppery overtones involved within this complex, layered full-bodied creation. (Parker 94/100)
