Tasting Notes 1: Stephen Tanzer-92-Musky, leesy aromas of citrus fruits, hazelnut and white truffle. Youthfully tight and sharply delineated, showing terrific mineral cut to the lemon, lime and ginger flavors. Raphael Coche told me that this wine began "very strict" but really exploded following the malolactic fermentation.
Tasting Notes 2: -17++-JF Coche thinks this vineyard should be premier cru. Admits Tessons should be too. But it would result in a coupure du village . Big and bold. No hint of matchstick! Lovely richness. Great balance. Great power and yet refreshment.
