Named after the family matriarch, The Merle is selected exclusively from the best parcels of Riesling from Pikes Polish Hill River Estate The Merle represents the pinnacle of Riesling at Pikes: showing concentration, purity and a sense of place It has refined and delicate aromas of freshly cut lime, citrus blossom and clover honey There are mineral notes that speak to origin of the wine Complex aromas of caraway seed add to the mix Mouth watering from the start, a highly concentrated mix of sweet lime, lemon curd, papaya, green fennel, bright acid and talc-like texture A long dry finish completes the experience
