This single malt represents seventeen years well spent, made with organically sourced barley, the first 14 of those were spent in whisky refill casks inside a former weaving shed (The distillery used to be a mill).
During the finishing it developed a delicious sweetness having spent its final years in Sherry casks.
Notes of caramel, maple syrup, candied peel and sherry soaked raisins are the product of the 100% natural process.
Colour: Burnished copper
Nose: Very dry and slightly sulphurous with a whole basket of dried fruits, raisins and dates
Palate: Sweet caramel, mouth coating maple syrup, mixed candied peel and sherry soaked raisins.
Finish: Long and sweet, fading to honeyed cashews
