This single-vineyard Tokaji Aszu 6 Puttonyos has an astonishing fragrance, evoking baked peaches, dried apricots, beeswax, violin rosin, lemon-and-honey, exotic spice and antique wooden furniture The combination of Tokaji's natural acidity with nearly a quarter-century's bottle age has integrated the sweetness, making for an overall impression of remarkable freshness and beautiful harmony It tastes of lime marmalade and Seville oranges, followed by more baked peaches and dried apricots This is fully ready to enjoy now, and promises to drink beautifully for another 20+ years The Bendecz vineyard's mineral-rich soil is volcanic in origin, and the ground is planted to 70% Furmint vines, and 30% Harslevelű
