An inky-purple in colour. Scents of plum and cassis with hints of menthol. On the palate, rich and creamy with velvety tannins and a lush texture. The finish is lingering with vegetal notes. This harmonious red is 100% Merlot from 15 hectares of very favourably situated vines, all of which are 30 years of age or older. Following cold maceration in temperature-controlled tanks, the wine is aged in Allier oak barrels for 12 months before bottling.
