A tenuous ruby-red colour with orangey reflections. Very fine and
delicate bouquet that exalts an intense fruitiness. Dry, pleasantly bitterish, with a long lasting after taste. Vineyards are situated in the area of Nizza Monferrato and Castelnuovo Calcea, in the province of Asti, at an altitude of 200/250m. Maceration in contact with the skins for 8-10 days, racking and slow fermentation of the young wine for 2-3 weeks. No ageing in wood, only refinement in steel tanks to preserve the natural varietal aromas of the grapes.
