Buy online Retsina Greek traditional white wine. Retsina (Resin) is an ancient type of Greek wine, which was produced initially by accident when using resin to seal the amphoras. Nowadays Lafkiotis Winery collects the resin during the grape harvest in Peloponnese, South Greece. The proper amount of resin is added at a certain stage of fermentation, creating a retsina which contains all the aroma of the pinewoods,where the resin originates. Retsina has bright gold-yellow color with rich body, fruity aroma mixed with an elegant aroma of resin. Fruit, together with the characteristic acidity and the long finish, constitute a wine unique for his style. Ideally served with white meats and due to it accidity is perfectfor fried dishes and cheeses, fried fishes and seafood as well as sushi. Vintage 2018. Serve at 8°C to 10°C.
