During the years 2005-2007, Mackmyra launched a series called Preludium ââ?¬â?? which provided a foretaste of our direction in terms of the taste and creative process. The series included editions made from our very first distillations, featuring Swedish oak ageing, small casks and of course also our Swedish smoky flavour spiced with juniper twigs.The whisky was between 3-5 years old, which is classed as being a young whisky. Despite its young age, it received a warm reception, and Swedenââ?¬â?¢s first single WHISKEY whisky enthused people across the whole country.
Magnus Dandanell, Founder of MackmyraMoment 22 is a reborn reincarnation of the Preludium series, taken from our whisky archives and transferred to 30-litre Swedish oak casks for another 3.5 years of final ageing. Many thanks to all of you who have been with us on this journey over the years!
