This is a perfect and exact blend between Pinot Noir, chosen for its red fruits aroma, its body, depth of flavour and fullness, and Pinot Meunier for its aromatic sweetness, a lush fruitiness and the capacity to acquire the roundness of age comparatively rapidly. The Pinot Noir grape provides the back-bone of this wine, whilst the Pinot Meunier lends softeners and orchard fruit aromas. A beautifully rich golden colour as well as an intense nose with red fruit aromas, such as red cherry, cranberry and redcurrant, are enticing us to take a first sip. A hint of strawberry lingers in the background. A creamy, full mouthfeel contributes to a very long finish. Ideal served on its own as an aperitif or try it alongside a quiche Lorraine or Parma ham.
