English 11 Year Old Single Malt Whisky Batch 3Nose: A complex nose with gentle notes of vanilla and citrus. A subtle herbal note; think mint and sage. Very fruity with hints of baked apple, peach, mango, dried apricots and cherries. A background note of nuts; think almonds. The oak from the casks comes across as clean pencil shavings. Lovely!Taste: Sweet and spicy, dry and woody with lovely oak overtones. The fruits come across with the cherries, apples and tropical fruits dominating. A nicely balanced peppery and spicy tingle on the tongue, with a rich, oily and slightly dry finish.
