DISTILLED 18th September 2014 AND BOTTLED 17th February 2023
A re-coopered hogshead made from ex-bourbon barrel staves. The distillate is medium bodied, sweet and fruity matured entirely in the ex-bourbon hogshead for layers of vanilla sweetness.
Although relatively young, this classic highland malt has spent its full time in a very active first fill bourbon hogshead maturing beyond its years. This rich, sweet and spicy malt has a lot in common with a high-end bourbon whisky and bottled in exactly the right time to preserve the distillery character.
The tasting revealed, cr茅me br没l茅e, biscotti and nutmeg.
