The growing season conditions were extremely favorable throughout this vintage and the proof comes through in this Estate Pinot Noir. The dark color of the wine inspires intrigue and draws you in by its mere presence. Exotic aromas emerge from the glass in concert suggesting notes of black tea, tart bramble fruits, quince, and anise. The densely layered palate is defined by a fine-tuned structure highlighting notes of pomegranate, lavender, and fresh sage. While still young and bold, this wine shows incredible potential to unpack with time in a decanter, or in a cool dark cellar. While this wine has much to offer today, the greatest truths this wine will tell can only come with time.
