Each of the traditional Bordeaux varietals in this complex wine underwent fermentation in large oak fermenters. After malolactic fermentation the separate components were further matured in Taransaud barrels for an additional 8 months before being blended. The Shiraz – vinified separately in new French oak for 10 months gives intensity and structure to the blend, adding dimension and intrigue.
