From its first appearance in 1991 it received experts? flattering reviews and until today it is still considered to be one of the top wines in Greece. Varietal composition: Cabernet Franc 100% Alcohol / ABV: 15% Vintage: 2018 Tasting Notes: Solid, almost black, dark red. Multilayered aromatic bouquet, with big development potential. Violet, blackcurrant, a hint of plum jam, mint, cedar and tasted bread alternate in the foreground. The sense of richness and power dominates without sacrificing balance. Tannins, firm but well crafted, dressed with plenty of fruit, promising longevity and great enjoyment in the future. Food Pairin While young it prefers more intense meaty flavours like four legged game, sirloin steak or beef in red sauce. When it matures it pairs better with more elegant dishes like fillet steak or roast lamb rack. Agein It will continue to evolve for at least 15-20 years after the harvest year. Other information: From old vines, planted in rocky clay soil. Ages for 18 months in new French oak barrels and, at least, as much in the bottle before release.
