2012 Barolo, Trediberri, La Morra, Piedmont

Sold Out

Bottled on 23rd October 2015, following 18 days on skins and 36 months élevage in 25hl botte grande, the 2012 is the first Trediberri Barolo to feature, along with fruit from the Berri vineyard, 27 percent from Capalot, an older-vine site along the La Morra escarpment, plum mid-slope, east-south-east facing on grey clay, and favoured by winemaker Roberto Voerzio no less. All this leads to a suave wine, rich in tobacco, incense, white truffle and earthy Langhe aromas; the palate woos with sweet strawberry, juicy plums and a heavenly perfume with plenty of zing.
