Gravelly Gaillac soils terraced above the River Tarn provide a perfect home for the local grapes Braucol and Duras, which, in roughly equal measure, make up 70% of this beautifully distinctive wine. The balance is made up of Syrah. Tank-aged for 18 months, the wine has a deep purple colour and seductive aromas of raspberry, liquorice and soft spice.
