A steep one-hectare lieu-dit in Malleval is responsible for this exceptional Condrieu. The wine spends eight months in Allier and Nevers oak, with weekly battonage, which has served to round out the palate which is dominated by notes of lychee, violet and white peach. The finish is pure and touched by intriguing hints of salinity, a leitmotif, it seems, for only the most expensive examples in the appellation.
