Les Rocoules has more calcerous soils than its junior sibling; it is the fruit of older vines and contains eight percent Roussanne in the blend. The wine is bottled unfiltered and glories in complexity and ageing potential; pear skin, lanolin and a hint of hazelnut inform the palate. M Sorrel, modestly in all probability, recommends holding onto it for 10 years.
