Faiveley has brought the yields down here, now obtaining intensity while retaining seduction. This is bright purple in colour with a lively seductive nose; there are some black fruit notes, quite a strict savoury character and good tannins behind to keep the wine complex. The finish is persistent. Erwan Faiveley believes that 2014 would be regarded as a great vintage – if only 2015 had not come along to trump it.
