Hambledon Classic Cuvée scored more points than wines from Pol Roger, Veuve Clicquot and Taittinger when they were pitted against eight champagnes in a competition organized by Noble Rot magazine in October 2015. The Classic Cuvée is a blend of the Champagne grapes, with Chardonnay taking the lion’s share ( 70% ) and the two Pinots balanced in preference to the Meunier over the Noir.
