The 2020 Mosconi is youthful, but this delicious vintage has a gentle, appealing character that enables the wine to be enjoyed now, although it also offers superb cellaring potential With a deep ruby colour and terracotta rim, it is immediately expressive, with fantastic aromas of raspberry, black cherry, cedar, sandalwood, black liquorice, roast chestnut and fallen autumn leaves leaping from the glass In the mouth, it's irresistibly plump, rounded and juicy, although this fleshiness conceals a firm structure of tight tannin and bright acidity This is drinking surprisingly well at a young age, and promises to provide decades of pleasure Now-2046 The Mosconi cru is a cool site - located at 370 metres elevation in Monteforte d Alba
