This red wine appellation of Saumur in the central Loire Valley is known for there Cabinet Franc based wines. Appellation laws permit a little Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend, but this is seldom used. A moderately good vintage for the region.

Typical blend, Cabernet Franc. 75cl bottle. Abv 12.5%

Bottle condition capsule good, label good, wine level a little below the cork.
