100% Organic Garnacha Tintorera, best small bunches, hand-harvested early October from 45?60-year-old dry-farmed, ungrafted goblet vines with yields of 1.2-1.5 kg per bush, at high altitude 750-900m where rainfall is scarce on cool, sandy plots with nutrient poor, limestone-rich soils to obtain sweeter tannins whilst preserving the fruit. Continuous maceration at 25°C for 2 weeks to preserve primary fruit aromas, aged 5-6 months in Am. fine grain, medium-toasted 300 litre barrels. Rich, full-bodied, deep purple colour, expressive ripe dark fruit, wild fresh herbs, smooth juicy tannins and natural acidity combine to offer a wine full of flavour.
