Made using a blend of hand harvested Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec, Saronsberg Seismic 2009 was fermented in 100% new French oak barrels. After malolactic fermentation, the wine was left on the gross lees for 10 months in barrel, then a further 10 months after racking and filtering. Maturing in bottle for a further 24 months prior to release has produced an incredibly complex Bordeaux-blend with terrific length and balance.
