DISTILLED 19th January 2011 AND BOTTLED 15th February 2023
Founded in 1958 overlooking the river Spey and acclaimed for producing a fruity and light distillate. Finished for over 6 months in an ex-Sauternes wine barrique for honeyed notes and apricot.
Another great example of this light and gentle Speysider this time nurtured to perfection in an ex-sauternes barrique. This secondary cask has offered a gentle dryness and spice notes to the fruitiness of the original spirit character. These combine very well for a well balanced dram.
The tasting revealed, hazelnut croissant, bitter orange and blossom honey.
