The delicate and indulgent flavours of American oak including vanilla, orange and toffee support The Macallans more traditional characteristics of rich fruits and wood spice which take centre stage.
Aroma: Dried fruits, ginger and toffee with rich orange and hints of clove and nutmeg.
Palate: Rich raisins and sultanas with notes of caramel, vanilla and ginger balanced by wood spice and zesty cirtus
Finish: Warm oak spice with ginger turning to sweet orange.
