This is the premium Vinsanto, the naturally sweet wine made from sun-dried grapes grown in Santorini, marked as a PDO product. This Vinsanto edition is made from 85% Assyrtiko and 15% Aidani grapes grown in the volcanic soil of Santorini and has been matured in oak barrels for 12 years. Vinsanto 12 years is a singular dessert wine with deep rose colour and aftertaste of dried fruits. Ideal for wine lovers and special occasions. Served at 10C ideally with sweets, chocolates and desserts. Tasting Notes: Deep brown in colour with pronounced aromas of baked apricots, raisins, dried figs and dates over a layer of forest floor, brown sugar, crème Brulee, bitter chocolate, caramelized oranges and butterscotch. Luscious and full-bodied on the palate this reveals a backbone of crisp acidity. The lingering finish reveals notes of walnut, molasses and baking spice.
