This is the premium Vinsanto, the naturally sweet wine made from sun-dried grapes grown in Santorini, marked as a PDO product. This Vinsanto edition is made from 85% Assyrtiko and 15% Aidani grapes grown in the volcanic soil of Santorini and has been matured in oak barrels for 8 years. Vinsanto 8 years is a singular dessert wine with deep rose colour and aftertaste of dried fruits.Vintage 2020. Ideal for wine lovers and special occasions. Served at 10C ideally with sweets, chocolates and desserts. Tasting Notes: Deep brown in colour with pronounced aromas of baked apricots, raisins, dried figs and dates over a layer of forest floor, brown sugar, crème Brulee, bitter chocolate, caramelized oranges and butterscotch. Luscious and full-bodied on the palate this reveals a backbone of crisp acidity. The lingering finish reveals notes of walnut, molasses and baking spice.
